Volunteer Today!

SCAR is a volunteer based organization. Our volunteers do an amazing job at rescues, fostering, transporting and preparing adoptions. We are always looking for more volunteers looking to make an impact in our communities. NO experience is needed to be a volunteer for SCAR, as long as you share the same passion and commitment to animal rescue. You can help with lots of different areas such as coordinating adoption events, transporting, fostering, or join our fundraising team. APPLY TODAY!!!

Voucher Program

Our voucher program helps owners who otherwise may not be able to afford to spay or neuter their pet. We help you get scheduled and pay the cost of surgery. There may be a waiting list. This service is only provided to South Monterey County residents. Click below to APPLY

Surrenders

Surrendering your pet may not be easy but may be the best choice for the animal's well-being. We take these surrenders and give them an opportunity of a better life. This service is only provided to South Monterey County residents. Apply below 

Feral & Community Cats Program

We offer TNR help in 
South Monterey County. Spaying and neutering is the only solution to improve the lives of feral cats and prevent overpopulation. If you feed cats please reach out today. This service is only provided to South Monterey County residents.
