SCAR is fully run by volunteers and it would not be possible to rescue without these amazing people. We are always looking for more help and NEED it to continue changing these animals lives. Apply below to volunteer!
We always need volunteers for events such as fundraisers, adoption events, vaccine drives, and many others! Any amount of time you are able to dedicate to helping SCAR carry out programs and services, is greatly appreciated.

Consider becoming a driver!
Drivers are needed for both short trips and long trips. Most short trips are within South County cities such as between King City and Chualar. Long trips would be considered between King City and Salinas or Monterey. While it is rare, we may occasionally have a need for transporting a SCAR pet outside of Monterey County.
