Welcome Summer!
Summer is a year old, Shepherd mix. She came to us as an injured stray from our friends at Hitchcock Road Animal Services. Summer was found in a ditch clinging to life, she had a sever front leg injury and could not move. Thankfully, a foster stepped up to foster her through her recovery period. She is very quiet and rarely barks. Summer can keep herself entertained and does not have separation anxiety. She loves to go on walks and hikes! Medium energy. She likes her naps but can play a lot too. Summer still uses her mouth a lot, she nibbles on your hands, toes and clothes.. so she will need a family who can continue to work on her training. She LOVES everyone. She greets every stranger like her lost best friend. Her enthusiasm for life is super adorable. Summer is fixed, vaccinated and microchipped!
