Welcome Spreckles!
Spreckles is a sweet, energetic Queensland Heeler/Chihuahua mix who was recently rescued from Hitchcock Road Animal Services. Full of personality, she loves to play, stay active, and be part of the action. She's a smart, fun-loving companion who thrives with another playful dog that can match her energy and enthusiasm. Whether she's chasing toys, exploring, or snuggling after a busy day, Spreckles brings joy wherever she goes. She'll need a permanent home where she can share her love, laughter, and endless zest for life.
Spreckles is currently participating in the new Dogs in Residence program at Monterey County Juvenile Hall in Salinas! This program goes beyond a weekly class. She will be living on-site full-time, creating a consistent opportunity for connection and responsibility. Spreckles will graduate early August 2026!
